**About us**:
The children in our care range from the ages of 8-18 and have a variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

We understand that it will be a traumatic time for a child being away from family and/or their usual surroundings, on top of the trauma they may have already experienced.

Our homes have a sense of family and within this it is natural that children and staff fall into general family roles.

The children themselves often form sibling type bonds within the home and it is very inspiring and rewarding to see them develop and progress with a sense of respect and self worth.

**Duties**:
You will be involved in all aspects of their everyday life, such as household duties, transporting the children to different provisions, paperwork and making positive differences in their lives. We all have the same purpose: _To enable all people in our care to achieve their personal best._
- Providing transport for the young people to access different provisions
- Making sure the young person in your care has taken their daily medication
- Helping the young people access education
- Household duties
- Paperwork
- Days out (social events, shopping, cinema, swimming, going to the beach, going on holiday)
- Contacts, visits, key work meeting and therapy sessions
- Offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a Driving license
- Desirable to hold **-** NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce or willing to complete the course when offered.

- Time and a half for overtime (after 173 hours)
