Our fun, friendly, and fast-paced team of event experts are seeking an experienced and motivated **Events Coordinator** to join our dynamic events team to lead on our Sizewell C Supply Chain events, which will include large scale Meet the Buyer events and conferences as well as smaller networking and business-focused events.

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to help shape the Sizewell C Supply Chain events programme and have a real impact on the local business community. To meet the requirements for this role you will need to have previous experiencein event management, preferably with experience of delivering virtual events as well as face to face events.

The ideal **Events Coordinator** will have strong administration and negotiation skills, along with experience in organising professional and high-quality events, including booking venues and speakers, managing delegate bookings, marketing andpromotion, and event management on the day. Experience with Canva and Zoom is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

This role will suit an outgoing, dynamic, creative, and forward-thinking event organiser with a strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude. Local business knowledge is desirable, but what is more important is your enthusiasm and experience in creating anddelivering successful, well organised events. We are looking for someone who is friendly and approachable, passionate about good customer service and going the extra mile, who has innovative ideas and a willingness to get stuck in.

**Essential skills**:

- Commercial events experience, including booking venues and speakers and event delivery
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- A good understanding of the conference and events industry
- The ability to 'think on your feet’ and problem solve under pressure
- Highly organised, self-motivated & punctual
- Excellent customer service and networking skills
- Positive and flexible approach to working, including some out of hours work
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements relating to event management
- A full driving licence and access to transport

In return you will have the opportunity to work within a fantastic organisation. On offer is a salary of **£23000-£27000 per annum** + expenses, company pension, and healthcare package. Flexible working opportunities available including home working.

**Please note** this is a fixed term contract initially for one year with opportunities for extension based on achieving key milestones.
