Leeds, United Kingdom Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Leeds Recovery College delivers a range of education and training courses to help increase awareness and understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and personal recovery.

In recent years, with the support of the Leeds Heath and Care Academy, we have developed a separate programme of interactive and experiential mental health awareness and wellbeing training exclusively for staff who work within the Leeds health and care system, as part of Leeds One Workforce.

We are now looking to expand this work and recruit an experienced mental health and wellbeing trainer to lead on the development and delivery of this programme.

This is a fast-paced and demanding role in which you will both lead on the delivery of training (online and in-person) and coordinate a small network of external trainers, and volunteer facilitators, to expand and develop our current offer.

You will be self-motivated, able to work cross organisational and have a good working knowledge of the Leeds health and care landscape and the demands on staff wellbeing. You will be experienced in developing and evaluating training and educational interventions, and comfortable engaging and networking with a wide range of organisations and staff teams.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- Leading on the delivery of a range of mental health and wellbeing workshops and trainings for staff working in the Leeds heath and care system.
- Coordinating and developing a small team of external wellbeing trainers, and volunteer lived experience facilitators.
- Expanding the current programme of training to ensure it is accessible and relevant to workforce needs.
- Evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on the programme, keeping a network of stakeholders up to date and fully engaged.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research, and development.

There are many benefits of working for LYPFT including fantastic employee wellbeing support, 27 - 33 days annual leave, flexible working and remote working arrangements, the NHS Pension Scheme (LYPFT pays 20.6% into your scheme each year), coaching, support and opportunities for career development and training and education support alongside a range of exclusive discounts and payment schemes including for cars, extra leave days and more organisations such as Blue Light Card, Health Service Discounts and NHS Discount Offers.

Working closely with the Recovery College development manager, the post holder will lead on the delivery and expansion of a staff wellbeing programme of training, managed by Leeds Recovery College for staff working in the Leeds health and Care system (this includes staff who work in the NHS, Primary Care, Private Care provides, Local Authority, Third Sector or in Education.
