Our client is a fast-growing, yet established Financial Planning firm based near Durham, with easy access to the A1. They are purely client-focused and are looking for a new Administrator to add to the team, and help continue to provide the highest possiblelevel of service to new and existing clients. They specialise in pensions and investments, especially helping people to retire. The salary for this role is up to £25k, but this is flexible depending on experience.

Here is the range of things that you could be involved in - however it’s likely you will specialise in a subset of these duties depending on your individual skills and background.
- Deal with follow on work such as investing monies, payment of pension benefits - i.e. moving clients into drawdown.
- Ad-hoc withdrawals from pensions and investments.
- Updating and maintaining a back-office system.
- This must all be done with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- To liaise and book appointments with existing and potential clients, maintaining a diary system for new business and annual reviews
- To issue letters of authority, monitor and deal with responses
- Obtain illustrations for new business across a range of products and providers
- Prepare client valuations and any necessary paperwork for client review; deal with any recommendations such as crystallisations, payment of benefits, fund switches, etc
- Dealing with both incoming and outgoing post; maintain an electronic filing system ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate
- To deal with general client queries as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Approaching or having achieved diploma level is highly desirable.
- At least 3 years’ experience working for a financial advice firm on both New Business and Existing Clients
- Experience using Intelliflo is an advantage but not essential
- Essential - experience dealing with processing of pension switches, transfers and pensions into drawdown
- Must have excellent written and oral interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, potential clients and product providers
