We are looking for an individual with a background in administration and preferably in social care to come work within our family owned and operated care home.

This is a newly re-opened post and we would like someone keen to help assist us to modernise our systems, digitising records, care planning, auditing etc wherever possible. As such strong IT skills would be welcome or an ability to learn new cloud based systems. Support will be given by the director and senior management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day administration for the care home, assisting the manager as required.
- maintain and administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance local and national guidance.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of digital care records
- offer adminstrative asisstance to care staff to help ensure appropriate medical care for residents
- Handle financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting, billing, and payroll
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations
- Collate any issues or concerns raised by residents or their families, bring to the attention of the relevant individual to help make sure they are addressed in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a positive and supportive environment for residents

**Skills**:

- Strong administration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using MS Excel for financial management tasks
- Ability to perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Familiarity with MS office software
- Knowledge of regulations around social care
- Prior office experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
