Participation and Event Coordinator, Europe

Join the **Major League Baseball** international team in Europe as we embark on the next chapter of international growth. As we aim to 'transform America's favourite pastime into a global passion' we are delivering new activities to drive fan engagement across our three strategic pillars of Content, Participation and Live Events and are looking for a 'Participation and Events Coordinator' to help deliver our participation and events programmes.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for day-to-day coordination of partners and agencies involved in the participation programs, including weekly status calls and updating key documentation.
- Ongoing monitoring of projects to deliver on key messages, objectives and budget.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of reports, business plans and presentations as directed
- Provide administrative support for the participation, activations and events programming for MLB Europe
- Supporting creative projects that will encourage new people to play, follow or experience baseball
- Assist the wider team with live activations and events where required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in related discipline
- Excellent organisation and planning skills required to keep programs on time and on budget
- Experience working in agency or able to demonstrate proficiency in agency management, ideally 1-2 years' experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced business environment
- Creative outlook and culturally engaged, excited by the prospect of creating and developing new ideas
- Ability to work under pressure, possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and display excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to get work across multiple projects with flexibility on wider projects where necessary
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work under pressure and display excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
