**Role Profile**

A high-end student accommodation provider requires a technical lead for one of their assets in Glasgow. The position will be static on-site Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00. Reporting to the Site General Manager, with a dotted line into the Regional Facilities Manager for the Portfolio.

Additional overtime hours will be available as reasonably required by management. They will be required to answer calls out of hours to provide remote advise and support when needed.
- The Technical Supervisor will manage one full time Facilities Assistant, and will be responsible for managing their workload and holiday requests, as well assessing their ongoing training requirements.
- The Technical Supervisor will be a working supervisor position, and will be expected to have an in depth understanding of domestic plumbing and heating systems, specifically Heat Induction Units (HIU’s). They will be required to attend to triage and first fix any breakdowns before a third party is contacted.
- The Technical Supervisor will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of properties mechanical and electrical plant, and will have the use of and responsibility for managing third party specialist contractors. The TS will be responsible for ensuring the site remains complaint with local legislation.

- Minimum City and Guild NVQ in Plumbing and Domestic Heating. Preferably IOSH, although this can be provided. Must be ‘Time Served’ with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
- Must be a good problem solver, and be able to easily integrate into a new team with a sunny disposition.
