**About us**

Oakfield Veterinary surgery is based in Tamworth The surgery has fantastic access to the M42 and other routes. We are a long-standing practice with a small, fantastic team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and Receptionists based in a beautiful building with a long-standing client base. At Oakfield we pride ourselves on offering high quality vet care and we take pleasure in being able to offer a full range of first opinion veterinary services. We are a dedicated team consisting of 2 vets, 5 nurses and 2 receptionists.

We are looking for a full time Receptionist to join our friendly team. The role is full time, Monday - Friday (8 hours per day) and Saturdays on a rota.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
Front desk duties
Answering the telephone
Being the first point of contact for our clients
General cleaning
Booking appointments
Answering general enquiries
Taking orders for food or medications
Assisting the clinical team in the smooth running of the practice

**Salary**: Up to £19,760.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Reception: 1 year (required)
