Our client is looking for a professional, qualified Tutor/Assessor to join their busy team

**Tutor/Assessor Duties**:

- Should be good with IT and using Teams
- Carry out practical assessments, providing the relevant paperwork and record-keeping in compliance with the awarding body requirements
- Conducting initial assessments (Skills Scans) of learners and support the on-boarding process
- Develop learning plans in line with the apprenticeship standards.
- Have a working knowledge of Ofsted requirements
- Incorporate English and Maths functional skills where needed.
- Maintain regular contact with learners’ managers/ mentors to ensure learners’ needs are met and that there is regular, supportive contact
- Manage and maintain learner records in line with ESFA and Centre audit requirements.
- Meet learners (on-line and face to face) to teach, assess and support their progress and development.
- Monitoring, reviewing and further developing individual learning plans.
- Prepare, agree and hold progress reviews with learners and their line managers every 12 weeks.
- Prevent, safeguarding, health and safety and equality and diversity.
- Provide one-to-one sessions to learners to respond to their learning needs and to supervise and work with their employers to direct work-based learning
- To identify and address learning and development needs to ensure learners reach timely award completion.
- To prepare the learner for End Point Assessment
- Understand apprenticeship ‘Off the Job’ requirements and fully encourage learners to journal their learning activities appropriately
- Utilise existing and develop new materials to support the delivery of the apprenticeship

**Tutor/Assessor Requirements**:
You must have experience of business, staff and customer management and a thorough understanding of project management.

You will need to deliver inspiring teaching and learning to a range of learners from Level 3 to Level 4. You must be a qualified assessor with some experience of supporting learners through EPA.
