Oasis Care and Training Agency is a well-established care provider, supporting vulnerable individuals in the community for over 25 years throughout London. With our ever-growing training and apprenticeship provision, we are seeking to employ an experienced Assessor/Tutor to support our cohort of Early Years Apprentices.
Experience of delivering both standard apprenticeships for the Early Years Practitioner Level 2 and the Early Years Educator Level 3 is essential, as well as experience of preparing apprentices for End Point Assessment.
The role involves both face to face as well as online delivery of teaching and learning to support our apprentices. It is essential for all apprentices to be seen at least, twice a month face to face and a teaching and learning session will need to deliver either online or face to face. Workplace observations will also need to be carried out.
We are currently using Qual Direct as our E-portfolio, previous experience of using this E-portfolio would be useful.
You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and a Teaching Qualification. You will need occupational experience within early years settings and experience of delivering apprenticeships in a previous role.
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: EARLY YEARS TUTOR / ASSESSOR**
With a passion for working with others and supporting learners towards maximising their full potential, you will take responsibility for managing a caseload of learners, creating a bespoke and meaningful lesson plans and schedule of learning to support and motivate learners towards achieving qualifications, stretching their learning, increasing their knowledge and capabilities, and supporting them while they evolve intellectually and professionally.
**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: EARLY YEARS TUTOR / ASSESSOR**
- Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, while delivering a range of quality provisions, you will follow code of practice and or the agreed procedure for our awarding bodies.
- Train, assess, motivate, and support learners towards achieving their early years qualifications
- Utilise the use of learner's lesson plan to record and endorse the journey the learner has undergone towards achieving their qualification. This along with all other documentation should be completed accurately and timely to support the overall business objective to ensure all materials are available on request for audit purposes.
**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: BUSINESS ADMIN & CUSTOMER SERVICE TUTOR / ASSESSOR**
- Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA or equivalent)
- Hold a Level 3 and above qualification within Early Years and Education
- Relevant Teaching Qualification
- Experience of delivering training remotely and face to face
- Excellent attention to detail / Time management skills
- Positive and dynamic with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems
- Passion for people development
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, SE15 1LW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
