As an Accounts Assistant, supporting both the Company and Personal tax teams, you will play a crucial role working closely with the Client Managers and Partners to deliver compliance and support the teams with their client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of Company Accounts under FRS 102/105
- Production of Management Accounts packs
- Preparation of Sole Trader accounts, partnership accounts and rental accounts, together with personal self-assessment tax returns
- Provide Bookkeeping support including the preparation and submission of CIS and VAT returns when required.
- Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by the Client Managers or Partners.
- Extensive accounting and finance background (practice experience preferred)
- Exam qualified/part qualified
- Good up-to-date CPE and knowledge of recent developments in accounting standards
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero & Dext
- Appropriate knowledge of VAT
- Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Adaptable, keen and flexible approach
- Committed team player
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
