I am working with a fantastic organisation in Blaenavon who are looking for a Credit Controller on a 12month FTC. You will be joining an established and friendly finance team and will be focusing developing client relationships, queries and cash collection,minimising any bad debt.

Across established sites in the UK and in areas renowned for excellence in complex metal working, Forged Solutions Group manufactures shafts, rings, discs, asymmetric forgings and extruded cylinders in a range of titanium, nickel, and steel alloys. ForgeSolutions is now looking to recruit new Maintenance Engineers to join the expanding engineering team based at the Blaenavon, Pontypool.

**Description**

The Blaenavon site is a 57,000m² specialist forging facility in the heart of the Welsh mountains producing a range of open and closed die products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to join a collaborative and supportive organisation who have a global, blue-chip customer base.

As a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant you will be expected to:

- Accounts Receivable - Including_ but not limited to_
- Cash Collection & Allocation, Aged Debt Analysis ensuring all debt is collected promptly
- Production of monthly Customer statements, Raising of Proforma Invoices
- Query resolution - Investigate & Resolve queries in a timely manner with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Self-Bills for VAT
- Quarterly Sales Cut-off testing
- Responsible for credit control and debt reporting, For review with the FD/GM
- Cash Management
- Monthly & Quarterly Cash Forecasting, Update daily cash books & completion of bank reconciliations
- Accounts Payable, AP Payment runs, Statement Reconciliation, Verification and updating of supplier bank details
- Nominal Ledger Account Reconciliation
- Daily Invoice report for Factoring
- Nominal Ledger Journal Postings
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Audit Queries

**Profile**
- Good Communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office, and most importantly Excel
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload, working to strict deadlines
- Ability to work on their own and as part of the team
- Organised

**Job Offer**
- Salary £22,000-£24,000 Per annum
