**More about your role**

An exciting opportunity has risen for a Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing to join us. This is a new role for Places for People and a role that will lead and develop the delivery of EDI and Wellbeing strategies. You will be responsible for researching and building an EDI strategy and action plan, leading on strategic EDI input into key organisational processes and plan, support and manage on the delivery of all learning initiatives.

You will manage, coach and develop the EDI team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear and output is maximised.

We're flexible on location although, as a key part of our People team and colleague community, you will be expected to travel to the nearest office to you a few times a week.

**More about you**

To be successful in this role you will have a successful track record in designing and leading the delivery of EDI strategies in complex and multi-sited large-scale organisations. You will have worked at Group Board level influencing the building of EDI strategies, delivery plans and longer-term budgeting plans over a 5 year period. You will operate and secure support and investment at both Executive and Senior Leadership levels.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively build relationships with employees, senior management and external agencies.
