Workforce Planning and Intelligence Officer

As Workforce Planning and Intelligence Project Officer, the post holder will work as part of a team supporting the Head of Integrated Workforce Planning and Strategy and the wider team to ensure an effective and responsive workforce planning, intelligence, assurance and strategy function for the region.
The post holder will be able to provide comprehensive project administration support. You will be highly organised, able to multitask, problem solve and prioritise your own workload with mínimal supervision. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and be confident in using all MS Office packages and be capable of learning how to use other digital platforms with training. You will work with a wide and varied range of stakeholders at all levels.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher. The post holder will be required to work across the team and wider sub-directorate to ensure that the programme of work is planned effectively and assist in its successful delivery. Specifically the postholder will:
- Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support.
- Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery.
- Co-ordinate a variety of workstreams such as risk and issue management.
- Support the production of returns, reports and briefings.
