**Your new role**
In this fantastic HR role, which is on a Fixed Term Contract basis - you will be working with a highly experienced and established HR Team based out of our Newton Aycliffe facitily.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the following deliverables:
**HR Coordinator responsibilities include:
- **
- Drafting accurate and high quality contract paperwork, offer letters and compiling new hire documentation. Managing the new starter processes including induction procedures, booking pre-employment medical appointments and checking attendance, contract return / filing and all right to work / reference pre-employment checks
- Ensuring new hires have a good quality day 1 induction plan in place / support day 1 induction elements for HR
- Administration of all contractual paperwork and personal files. Tracking new hires to ensure contract paperwork is returned
- Providing administration support to HR Advisor(s), often working with highly confidential / sensitive personal information
- Supporting the probation review process, notifying managers when probations reviews are due and chasing/logging completed forms
- Supporting leave and pay administration for Sickness absence and Maternity / Paternity / Parental leave / overtime payments
- Supporting (where requested) 100% completion / return of Return to Work Forms and Fit Notes
- Supporting the leavers process including resignation acknowledgement, arranging exit interviews and paper work returned
- Set up and maintenance of electronic employee files
- Support employees with questions related to benefits and the annual benefit window communication
- Support the monthly payroll cycle process for all manufacturing and rolling stock engineering employees, including all inputting and checking information provided to the payroll. Submit information including new hires, leavers, pay changes, shift and overtime payments, sick pay, deductions, allowances and amendments
- Ensure calculations are correct and interfaces / data transfers between systems related to payroll take place correctly. Check trial payroll, carry out ad hoc calculations, recover overpayments, organise adjustments etc
- Respond to payroll related queries from employees. May also include completion of employee form requests (mortgage / rental references, jury duty forms, court instructions etc)
- Support and maintain the administrative process of key HR activities throughout the year i.e. salary reviews, probations, annual holiday pay premium and bonus payments
- Support HR systems administration in Hi Next, SAP and TMS (Time Management System). Work with HR Advisor to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Update TMS rosters, create new schedules and update information. Assist employees and line managers with Hi Next / SAP / TMS queries
- Other duties where required to support the HR team including taking minutes in meetings, supporting recruitment activity, scanning and filing

- Assist the UK Talent Acquisition team to achieve the recruitment plan for the Newton Aycliffe site
Ensuring requisitions are raised and approved
- Ensuring opportunities are shared internally and support the internal applicant process where applicable- Arranging interviews and selection appointments- Creating and monitoring recruitment data and KPI’s, producing reports and providing recruitment updates to the UK Talent Acquisition team
