On Call Coordinator/support Worker

**Overview**
This is a duel role and involves out of hours on call coordinating on a rota basis with two other on call coordinators, with additional enhanced pay per night, to be discussed on interview.
This Duel role will involve working some hours on the community as a care support worker, and some on call. You will receive hourly pay for the care support worker role, and an additional enhanced payment per night for on call purposes.
As the on call coordinator you will be responsible for answering any calls or queries from staff or individuals. Managing staff absences and reallocation of care calls, while maintaining accurate records of any conversations outside of office hours.
You will be fully supported in this role by the care manager, and receive full training, with the option of personal development up to a level 4 if you desire.
**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition through data entry.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and encourage participation.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect the dignity of all clients at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Analyse client feedback to improve service delivery and identify areas for enhancement.
- Answering any calls or queries from staff or individuals. Managing staff absences and reallocation of care calls, while maintaining accurate records of any conversations outside of office hours.
- **Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Support Worker/Coordinator or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to analyse situations and respond appropriately to client needs.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Basic data entry skills for maintaining accurate records.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required meeting the needs of the business on a rota basis.
- Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care are beneficial but not mandatory.
