This is a really exciting time to join us. Our business has grown rapidly over the years to become one of the leading providers of legal services to the residential property and remortgage markets.
We don't plan to stand still though - following private equity investment, we are looking to expand our HR Team, based in central Stockport, to meet the demands of our growing business.
We are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to support our Talent Manager and work within our wider HR Team of 6.
The role will involve supporting in all aspects of recruitment, selection and on boarding as well as assisting the wider HR Team with ad hoc people related projects.
In return we can offer a salary of up to £24, 000 depending on experience.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
- On boarding new starters
- Ensuring references are applied for and background checks and DBS checks are carried out.
- Prepare offer letters, contract variation letters and contracts as required
- HRIS: maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Producing Recruitment and HR MI reports
- Maintaining confidentiality of HR information and records and at times.
- Answering payroll queries and facilitate payroll processing as and when necessary.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR Recruitment trends and best practice.
- Completion of termination paperwork
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to communicate clearly with employees, members of the HR team and in group presentations and meetings.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop rapport and positive relationships at all levels of the business.
- The ability to problem solve, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Must be able to prioritise and plan work activities.
- Must be organised, accurate and able to monitor work for quality.
- Highly computer literate.
