**Working Hours & Availability**

This is an **all year round** role (not term-time only). Applicants must be available to work shifts **between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm**, to accommodate the nursery’s opening times. Working patterns are set on a rota basis and discussed in advance.

**Job Role and Responsibilities**

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 0-5 years. Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering age-appropriate, creative, and engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development
- Observing and assessing children's progress and maintaining accurate records
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team
- Promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
- Contributing to team meetings, training, and continuous professional development
- Supporting the nursery’s values of inclusivity, kindness, and community

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education (or working towards)
- Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development
- Friendly, nurturing, and approachable
- A strong team player with good communication and organisational skills
- Knowledgeable about EYFS principles, safeguarding, and health & safety

Pay: £12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
