Shift: 7pm - 7.30am, 4 on 4 off

Salary: £13.13 - £14.88 p/h, overtime £16.41 - £18.59 p/h

Location: Alconbury, PE28 4YA

As a **Line / Team Leader** you will be responsible for the operation of a production line for the duration of your shift.

**Core Business Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all processes are done in a safe manner
- Drive production lines to fulfil daily customer orders in the most cost-effective way, whilst meeting their specifications
- Motivate and develop team to achieve and maintain key performance indicators daily providing feedback when required
- Liaise with quality and technical departments to make sure all customers quality specification are met and maintained
- Aiming for continuing improvement and support the business with projects
- Health and Safety and reporting near misses/hazards through the correct process, escalation and management
- Management of Grape Trimmers or Graders to correct line standards and specifications
- Awareness of different machines within group of product i.e. Grape OR Citrus
- Train Trainees and Junior Leaders
- Good problem solving and Can-do attitude
- Highlight any areas of concern - open to communicate
- KPI's knowledge, interpretation, adherence and excellent problem solving
- Works on downtime reduction and RAPID changeovers
- Competent in Rubicon disciplines. Understands and follows through work order accuracy and stock management, manages raw materials and finished goods through correct process
- Raw material and finish goods specification knowledge
- Good problem solving and can-do attitude
- Always follow processes and ensure others follow too, always challenges individuals
- Takes ownership and accountability of the role in hand, positive approach and outlook
- Takes part in business briefings and actively encourages participation

**About You**:
**Skills and Experience**:

- Experienced leader with a proven track record
- Experience within a fresh produce environment is desirable
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills
- Be able to work in a KPI driven environment and have experience working to KPI’s
- Good communications skills both verbal and written
- Good PC skills

The business has invested heavily in to this facility which further demonstrates the growth plans for the Group. AM FRESH employs around 500 people and around 250 agency staff a day operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a 4o4o shift pattern.
