Encocam are recruiting for a new **Team Leader** to join our team at **BCP (Bespoke Composite Panels) **in **Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire**.

BCP make aluminium honeycomb centred composite panels that are used in railway carriages, vacuum and pallet tables for the printing industry, as well as other bespoke products that meet our customer demands.

We need a Team Leader who will take responsibility to maximise the efficiency of manufacturing resources and contribute to the development and improvement of the team and processes.

There is a wide range of job functions, which will include:

- Use CNC machining knowledge and techniques to assist where necessary on CNC routing machines.
- Ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is provided at all times throughout the various stages of production.
- Completion of routine department paperwork and adhering to administrative and quality and technical procedures.
- Check the logging in/out of works orders.
- Help machine operators with problem solving, adjustments, set-ups.
- Assist in machine maintenance and repair.
- Review drawings and specifications of particular products.
- Coordinator of 5-S within the factory.
- Assist in Prioritising and planning work and resources to ensure that priorities are met wherever possible. For example, organising and communicating work schedules for the following day.
- Delegate functional responsibility and assist those individuals and advise them in the achievement of their job objectives.
- Brief subordinates to achieve an understanding of and commitment to the Company’s goals and targets.
- Monitor and maintain Work Instructions.
- Sort out ad hoc problems e.g.: Kanban, material supply problems, etc.
- It is a requirement of your role to be prepared to undertake training and thereby operate lifting equipment e.g. overhead crane, forklift truck (reach and / or counterbalance), pedestrian palletiser etc.

You will have experience in the use of hand and electrical tools as well as manual handling capabilities to move finished goods. You need to have team-working skills and the ability to establish good relationships with both colleagues and customers through effective communication and good language skills.
