**Senior Support Worker (Supported Living)**

**Location**:Hailsham BN27 3BW

**Hours of Work**:Full-time or part-time, up to 40 hours per week
**Hourly Rate of Pay**: £12.65 per hour

**About the Role**:
Due to the variety within our services and the different support needs of the individuals we work with; the role of a Senior Support Worker is one with great diversity and challenges for employees at any stage of their career.

The role of a Senior Support Worker is one in which you will be required to work as part of a team as well as lead a team on a daily basis.

Everyone we support is an individual and our support plans reflect this.

**About You**:

**Essential Training and Qualifications**:

- NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent
- Completion of Care Certificate
- Moving and Handling training
- Mental Capacity and DoLs training
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults training
- Management and administration of medication training
- First Aid training
- Commitment to continued personal development
- Autism/Aspergers syndrome training/experience

**Essential Availability**:
Work weekends, sleep in shifts.

**Desirable Availability**:
Flexibility to work over-time shifts when required.

**About the Service**:
We work across Kent, Bexley, East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey; supporting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities across residential care homes, supported living homes, day services and our fantastic outreach programme.

Each of our services is unique and supports individuals with different support needs. Because of this, Aspens Charities are able to offer a variety of amazing roles and challenges to suit what you may be looking for.

London Rd is a new service and the intention is that the people living there will have a diagnosis of Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome and associated conditions. The primary aim of the service is to enable/support people with the skills to live as independently as possible.
