We’re increasingly looking to innovate and differentiate our range and proposition across the area coupled with a thorough understanding of our customers’ needs and reasons for purchase.

As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll get to kickstart your buying career in this fast-paced role. You’ll support our Senior Buyer to bring a fantastic range of products to our customers. With the chance to help negotiate with suppliers, you’ll get hands-on experience at the heart of a highly skilled team. Whatever direction you take in the future, you’ll be well equipped to progress.

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the Windows Computing strategy
- Selecting and negotiating product ranges and pricing
- Keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices
- Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business

You will need:

- Some experience of being part of a buying function or a great working knowledge of Desktop and Monitor products
- Great communication and relationship building skills
- To be organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment
- Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
