As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll get to kick start your buying career in this fast-paced role. As an Assistant Buyer in our Essentials team you will support our Senior Buyer across a wide range of exciting products including Wi-Fi Solutions, Phones, PC & TV Accessories and work with major suppliers including Google, Samsung, BT, Panasonic, Logitech, HP, Microsoft, TP-Link & Duracell.

**As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for**:

- Helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the category strategy
- Selecting and negotiating product ranges and pricing
- Keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices
- Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business

**You will need**:

- Experience of being part of a buying function (as an assistant buyer or administrator) or a great working knowledge of technical products
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- To be organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment
- Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
