**Clinical Support Administrator**

Do you have the experience and drive to fulfil the role of a Clinical Support Administrator? Do you enjoy working as part of a team, enjoy providing a great service and have an eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful Mental Health Liaison team of administrators. The Mental Health Liaison Team is based at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital at Colney, with a satellite office at Hellesdon Hospital, therefore flexibility will be required to work at either office.

The Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS) is a Core 24 liaison team that aspires to clinical, teaching and research excellence. We are a dynamic, rapidly developing and evolving service covering all ages over 16 years in a 1254-bed busy general hospital dealing with over 500 referrals per month. With this role there is the opportunity to work with a multi
- discipline team consisting of Consultants, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and your potential Clinical and Business Administration colleagues.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and energised with a positive, can do, approach. Good communication and organisational skills are essential.

Your role will involve a wide range of tasks including call handling, minute taking, audio typing, data collection and input from multiple patient administration systems and audits, This is a stimulating and varied role where no two days are alike but are extremely rewarding.

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
The role is to support the Mental Health Liaison Team who receive referrals predominately from the A & E department along with ward referrals and carry out assessments at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. Please refer to Team Overview at the end of the document for more details about this interesting team.

**Essential criteria**:

- NVQ 3 Business Administration or working towards or equivalent
- NVQ 2 Customer service or working towards
- Equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Understanding and experience in full range of admin procedures and systems
- Working under pressure on own initiative with mínimal supervision

**Skills**:
**Essential criteria**:

- ICT skills - working knowledge of MS packages
- Audio typing
- Excellent articulate communication skills
