**Accounts Payable Administrator**

**Milton Keynes (Hybrid)**

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a friendly team within a global recognised brand

**Role Purpose**:
The primary function of an Accounts Payable Administrator is to ensure that a company's invoices are paid on time and that the company is not overcharged for any service or product procured.

The Accounts Payable Administrator will support the line manager ensuring that Accounts Payable Ledger is a true reflection of the liability owed by the company and to support line manager in the smooth running of department, ensuring all KPI’s are achieved.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Scanning and Reviewing invoices sent to the AIPRO document management system.
- Input invoices directly to the SAP system, using the AIPRO document management system.
- Review and update internal logs for invoices received via the AIPRO document management system.
- Run and review the automated Workflow Invoice report, (WIP), Review and update all queries and log via AIPRO document management system on a weekly basis.
- Main point of contact for given vendors, actively communicating with them and fulfilling all duties necessary to maintaining a good vendor relationship.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly; ensuring a reconciliation is completed for the top ten vendors (by value) is done each quarter.
- Propose/request urgent vendor payments to your line manager.
- Provide support / colleague cover when required.
- Liaise with auditors as and when required.
- Attend vendor visits as and when required to resolve issues.
- Deputise for Accounts Manager when necessary.

**Role Requirements**:
**Skills**:

- IT literate, strong Microsoft Excel skills (level 2 or above).
- Demonstrate a good business knowledge (e.g. products and processes) and a sound understanding of Transactional Finance
- User Working Knowledge of TEAMS, SKYPE and ZOOM.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Team player

**Qualifications**:

- Related Finance Qualification

**Experience**:

- Experience in a Transactional Finance related role.

**Desirable**:

- Good SAP knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
