Our client is an established consultancy company who are based in London, with operations across the UK, France & Spain.

Being a successful contender in the consultancy industry, they have demonstrated their ability to improve client margins considerably whilst using a rigorous and proven methodology. They help their clients to achieve an improved pricing strategy amongstother things.

Our client is looking for a French Accountant to join their successful consultancy company in London working alongside operations reporting into the Finance Manager.

The French Accountant will be responsible for:

- Managing and Maintaining current accounting systems
- Statutory Accounting including working with French & UK Auditors
- Declarations to tax and social authorities in France & Spain
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Credit Control
- Salary Payments
- Managing bank accounts in France & Spain
- Managing Accounts & Reporting
- Revenue recognition/forecasting
- Supporting the London based Finance Manager on an Ad Hoc basis

The ideal French Accountant will need to demonstrate the following:

- Fluent in English & French - ability to speak Spanish would be beneficial
- Good use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Familiar with Xero & Sage Software's
- Part Qualified/Qualified
- Knowledge of French & UK accounting:

- Accounting policies and procedures
- Sales Tax
- Payroll
- Banking facilities and procedure
- Statutory returns

On offer for the French Accountant is a salary of up to £50,000 dependant on experience

Hybrid working available, London office & home based - Remote working would be considered
