Junior UI Artist

Tasks
- Using 2D production tools to create UI and UX layouts and assets to meet project requirements.
- Integrate UI assets into Unity to produce functional layouts.
- Building content within the requirements of the target platform.
- Taking part in standups and team meetings for communication of project goals.
- Managing the burn down of your art tasks, using Jira and working with the Lead Developer to prioritise work.

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Proven experience of creating UI artwork via a portfolio.
- Experience with industry standard Game Engines.
- Extensive experience with industry standard 2D tools. \[Photoshop, Illustrator]
- Experience of working on PC or Mobile platforms.
- Experience working within a team environment.
- Experience managing tasks in a project planning suit.

Desirable
- Experience with Unity
- Experience with Console UI development
- Experience with UI animation
- Experience in UX
- Idea generation for projects.
- Shipped 1+ commercial projects.
- Traditional pipeline of learning through a University environment.
- Experience with either Figma or Adobe XD

Skills and Abilities
- Ensuring the UI design and UI assets are created to the highest quality.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines.
- Highly motivated and productive, a self-starter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
- Strong teamwork skills
- A creative and logical approach to problem-solving with an end user focus.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong layout and iconography skills
- Good sense of colour, value and contrast.
- Adapts well to new processes and pipelines.
