- You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest art tools and technologies, ensuring that every asset is performant, visually striking and communicates our creative vision. You’ll improve our art and design pipelines and techniques while integrating new tools and technologies as we develop our games. You’ll be responsible for delivering expertly designed art assets, built to the highest standard, ready for integration into various contexts across the studio._

Essential
- 6+ years experience working as an UX/UI Designer/Artist.
- Experience in UX with a demonstrable portfolio of wireframes, user flows or similar.
- Proven experience of creating UI Designs/Assets via a Demo Reel and/or portfolio.
- Experience with industry standard Game Engines.
- Expert experience with industry standard 2D tools. [Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop]
- Experience of working on Mobile, PC or Consoles platforms.
- Experience working within a team environment helping to guide, motivate and improve team capabilities.
- Experience managing, planning and estimating tasks in a project planning suit.
- Experience providing clear feedback and mentorship to junior and mid-level Designers.
Desirable
- Experience with Unity.
- Experience with Mobile UI development.
- Experience with UI animation.
- Idea generation for projects.
- Traditional pipeline of learning through a University environment.
- Experience of working on client briefs and collaborating with external teams.
- Passionate about championing accessibility and inclusive design.
Skills and Abilities
- The desire and ability to champion user experience above all else, in a positive way, even when it is challenged.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to manage stakeholder and partner relationships and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
- A proactive approach with high levels of passion, creativity when it comes to problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ensuring UI design and UI assets are created to the highest quality.
- Expert planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines.
- Highly motivated and productive, a self-starter.
- Strong teamwork skills and desire to champion collaboration and shared learning.
- A creative and logical approach to problem-solving with an end user focus.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong layout and iconography skills as well as a solid sense of colour, value and contrast.
- Adapts well to new processes and pipelines and helps to further improve existing ones.
Duties and Tasks
- Using 2D production tools to create UX and UI layouts and assets to meet project requirements.
- Liaising and collaborating with clients to determine stakeholder goals and effectively deliver on them.
- Integrate UI assets into Unity to produce functional layouts.
- Building assets to game engine specifications and pipelines for Unity.
- Building content within the requirements of the target platform.
- Attending standups and team meetings for communication of project goals.
- Organising and executing the burn down of the UX and UI tasks, using Jira and working with the Lead UX Designer and Studio Producer to meet project deadlines.
