Palladium’s capital advisory team is a leading impact investment bank creating solutions and mobilizing capital to address the world’s most pressing challenges. The team combines strengths at the intersection of impact investing, international development and strategy consultancy. The capital advisory team is comprised of 20 corporate finance and impact investing professionals, based broadly in London and New York City, tackling global and local problems that require creative, hands-on and people-focused approaches to mobilizing capital and unlocking positive impact. **Location**:
The position is based in Palladium’s London office.

**Reporting Lines**:
This position will report to Director in our capital advisory services team based in London.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Associate will provide critical support to project managers and will manage selected project workstreams. You will be a key contributor for executing on client engagements (usually 2-4 at a time) primarily in capital raising for impact ventures, as well as capital strategy and structuring for innovative impact funds across a diverse client base in Latin America, Sub Saharan Africa and Asia. You will also be involved in business development and practice building.
- Client Mandate Execution_
- Prepare and edit client deliverables, including presentation decks, transaction materials (i.e. information memos, teasers, term sheets), research documents, and financial models
- Leading assigned project workstreams and being responsible for selected client deliverables, incl. presentation to the client
- Lead market research, business analysis, and financial modeling, including valuations
- Support project management, including participation in and documentation of calls with clients and investors, managing due diligence processes, maintaining data rooms, etc.
- Overseeing work of Analysts in respect of specific projects
- Occasional travel to client locations as required (when possible)
- Business Development and Practice Building_
- Co-lead preparation of proposals and conference presentations
- Participation in conference calls, including weekly pipeline calls, and assistance in tracking and monitoring of pipeline developments
- Contribution to the knowledge base of the team and improvement of internal processes and tools
- If required, occasionally, work with other teams within Palladium, for example on proposal development or financial modelling tasks

Administrative Support
- Providing occasional support to the financial management of the business, including budgeting, forecasting and expense management and providing guidance to Analysts on the above

**Key Competencies Required**:

- Experience in one of the following: venture capital, private equity, investment banking, development finance, or related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High degree of proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create/edit financial models
- High degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
