Responsibilities You will work directly with financial sponsor and corporate clients across all industries in evaluating, structuring, recommending and executing financing alternatives across the capital structure You will have the opportunity to advise clients on a broad range of transactions including (i) syndicated acquisition financings and refinancings, (ii) private credit lending, (iii) par and stressed refinancings, (iv) liability management, including A&Es and Exchange Offers, (v) growth and venture capital, and (vi) structured and infrastructure financings The team sits at the fulcrum of PJT’s M&A and Restructuring franchises, thereby offering unparalleled exposure to clients and senior bankers, as well as exceptional deal-flow Day-to-day responsibilities include analysing capital structures and cashflow models, credit documents and indentures; facilitating due diligence and discussions with companies, legal counsel and advisors; ratings analyses; and direct interaction with clients, banks and funds on capital raising transactions Associates will be expected to manage analysts staffed on their transactions and on internal and external business development projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a top ranked university 3‑4 years of experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets advisory, restructuring or direct lending at an investment bank or credit fund ACA or CFA qualification preferred but not mandatory Resume must include graduation month/year and GPA, if applicable Resume must be in PDF format Equal Employment Opportunity PJT is an equal opportunity employer.
