**About the role**

You will report to the Head of Carbon and be responsible for the coordination of Carbon administration in relation to our Enhanced Weathering projects. The main areas of responsibility include:

- Gain a strong understanding of the carbon dioxide removal function of enhanced rock weathering and the science that underpins it
- Support the Head of Carbon with methodology development and ongoing modifications
- Work with the company’s operations team to advise on project design to ensure compliance with relevant carbon standards
- Run Life Cycle Analyses for each of our Enhanced Weathering project sites and feed resulting data into our carbon removal quantification models
- Manage the certification process of the company’s enhanced weathering projects through the relevant carbon standards
- Registration / validation / verification
- All associated data management
- Preparation and submission of all necessary documents

**Who we’re looking for**

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working in carbon, sustainability or the climate change space. This can be through either work history or academia, however a mixture of both would be the ideal.

**You must have**:

- Experience and a good understanding of Carbon sequestration and relevant calculations and data
- Experience in running carbon Life Cycle Analysis studies
- Ability to interpret data on carbon and relay key information
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to work on google docs
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate and coordinate tasks across a variety of teams
- Ability to manage own workload and feel comfortable with remote working
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

**Highly desirable**
- Knowledge on or experience with enhanced weathering
