Stafford, United Kingdom SEVERN TRENT Full time

Did you know the length of Severn Trent’s waste network would wrap around the world twice? Well, now you do.

It’s a big network, and a big responsibility. Every day 8 million people from Scunthorpe to Stroud rely on us to bring them clean water at the turn of a tap and take away their waste in one flush.

From planning, to digging, to inspecting we welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality. We know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our customers and the communities where they live.

**If you want to do more because you care, we’d love to talk to you. There really is something for everyone here.**

**EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW**

Within this role you’ll work as part of a team working from Hinkley and covering the region of **Staffordshire**, to carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems. This will involve analysing pipe conditions with state-of-the-art surveying equipment to produce high-quality reports in both pre-planned and reactive settings.

These reports will help the Waste Network Team strategize and prioritise damaged assets accurately to continuously improve our network proactively. The key element of this role is being able to use and diagnose the faults using coding, this allows a report to be curated and then the work to repair can be distributed.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate prior experience in the drainage industry and should hold an OS19X certificate, a high-pressure water jetting certificate, and an up-to-date Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- A class 2, or C1+ E licence is necessary. A full UK driving license is necessary.
- A passion for doing a quality, right first-time job, together with good attention to detail, to ensure you get to the root cause of issues and get them fixed.

- Liaising with other departments including our control centre, operations, and maintenance and the ability and desire to build strong relationships with customers.
- Must also have a towing licence.

**WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU**

Working here isn’t just a job. You can build a career at Severn Trent. We’ll reward you for it, too. We have a range of benefits that recognise great work, and award-winning training to help you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the communities where we live.
