**Information Security Manager**

**Salary: £40,000**

**Location: Hybrid - working from home and Northwich office CW97LN**

**We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Manager to join our team working on an agile basis working from home and our Northwich Office.**

**Knowledge and Experience of the Information Security Manager Role**:

- Applicants will have a technical background with at least 5 years exposure to IT administration, IT operations, and IT security and at least 2 years exposure to InfoSec/Cyber security.
- Experience in managing security risks within public cloud infrastructure - Microsoft 365/Azure
- Awareness of various Risk and Compliance regulations and standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO27001)
- Experience implementing and/or maintaining formal best practice information security compliance or certification (e.g Cyber Essentials)

**Competencies of the Information Security Analyst Role**:

- Analytical approach to working.
- Ability to work both alone and part of a team.
- Evaluate and understand Information Security risks and how to appropriately manage those risks
- Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
- Assess compliance with Information Security policies and legal and regulatory Information Security requirements
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.

**Responsibilities of the Information Security Analyst Role**:

- Vulnerability Management - Performing assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in our current network.
- Security Incident Response - Respond to a variety of security incidents as per the documented incident response plan.
- Continuous Security Monitoring - Manage and Monitor SIEM alerts and take appropriate action. Hunt for threats within the SIEM tool to locate suspicious events.
- Endpoint Protection and Security - Manage endpoint security controls, responding to any alerts as necessary.
- Information Protection - Assist with Data Classification, and Data Loss Prevention controls
- Cloud App Security - Ensure that all data in public cloud infrastructure is protected according to security policies.
- Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
