**_This is a 12 month Fixed term contract position._**

The role of **Customer Services Supervisor** in our reception team will be based at our Mayfield retirement village in Watford. Mayfield Watford is part of a buzzing residential neighbourhood which includes facilities such as a shop, food and beverage outlet, leisure club and a beautiful riverside park.

Mayfield villages comprises of owners, who permanently reside on site within their own private homes and who pay a management fee for the upkeep of their properties and access to services on site. In addition the village hosts external customers and this role is responsible for providing a first class, positive experience for all.

Reporting into the Deputy General Manager, Mayfield’s **Customer Services Supervisor** is responsible for managing the reception area and are the first line support for all our owners and external customers.

Day to day you will supervise a small team, you will work to maintain department facilities, standards of presentation and levels of service to a level that achieves and exceeds customer expectations. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and running of regular hospitality events at the village.
- Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis with the ability to influence and liaise with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills to ensure the guest receive the highest quality of service and customer engagement is high.
- Experience of line managing a team
- Ability to hold conversations with owners and guests, being attentive to their needs and spot opportunities to upsell.
- Team working to ensure that all reception duties are carried out effectively.
- Ability to deal with queries in an efficient and diplomatic way.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of working in a customer facing role.
- Self-motivated and driven by standards
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions
- Accurate cash handling skills.
- Flexible approach to daily duties and shift patterns
