Some of the responsibilities include:

- Maintaining of the smooth running of the Revenue Office.
- To be responsible for selling the hotel and achieving maximum room occupancy at all times, whenever possible making additional sales on upgraded packages or F & B options.
- To be able to communicate with customers through various methods eg - by telephone, via E-mail, fax machine and “face to face”.
- To ensure that all bookings received are recorded correctly and updated when confirmed or amended.
- To ensure all correspondence is answered at once and filed accurately.
- To be aware of customer requirements in order to eliminate customer complaints.
- To be fully aware of budgeted and actual departmental financial targets. This to include room sales, market segments, average room rates and yield management.
- 3- day live correspondence checks, 7- day correspondence checks and 30 day spot checks.
- To maintain a close working relationship and good communication with the Conference and Events team.
- To assist with ensuring all Conference enquiries are handled according to the standards laid down
