**Overview**

Nomad have an exciting opportunity within our global QHSE department for a HSE & Training Coordinator to join the Nomad team.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage all operational functions in relation to health, safety and environmental management activities across all of Nomads global activities
- Manage all HSE related training activities and develop further training material and support relative to Nomads risks and exposures
- Manage Nomads safe system of work program and all risk assessment work for all global hubs
- Manage and coordinate environmental monitoring systems and develop the EMS
- Develop the BMS processes and procedures and forms relative to HSE activities
- Support with the planning and maintenance of the Nomad audit plan and controlling documents within
- Prepare, monitor and maintain monthly & annual QHSE performance data reports
- Co-ordinate with customers and suppliers to organize QHSE visits & audits
- Collaborate with all Nomad departments for Health and Safety and respond to concerns and issues
- Support and manage office managers/ local reps to effectively comply with their legal requirements on office management and remotely support HSE management for all site
- Be the point of contact for all environmental issues / concerns
- Manage and coordinate all safety communications to employees
- Promote health and safety across all Nomad operations and departments
- Develop Nomads CSR initiatives and drive the development of our key projects
- As required support other departmental functions such as quality and supplier related activities as needed
- NEBOSH National General Certificate holder is essential
- NEBOSH Diploma desirable but not essential
- IEMA certificate in Environmental management desired but not essential
- IOSH Managing / working safely desirable
- Internal / External / lead auditor certification / course completion
- Member of IOSH/IEMA desirable

**Experience & Qualifications Required**:

- Experience in a compliance health and safety related role is essential
- Experience of maintaining IMS/BMS systems is essential
- Experience of investigating incidents and completing follow up investigation reports is essential
- Experience of working with ISO 9001 standard is essential
- Experience of working with ISO 14001 standard is essential
- Experience of working with OHSAS18001 / ISO 45001 standard is essential
- Experience of maintaining training and database information is essential

**Other Essential Requirements**:

- Travel Required: YES 10%
- Experience of using SharePoint is an advantage
- Experience of business or integrated management systems is an advantage
