**The Service**

The Regeneration Directorate manages Portsmouth City Council's commercial (non-residential) property portfolio. It's a multi-million pound business that generates millions in income for the council that we plough back into the services we provide. We want every penny we save, every pound we bring in, to make the lives of Portsmouth's residents better.

Our specific role in the Property Support Team is to help ensure that our commercial assets are managed cost-effectively, and to establish and maintain strong working relationships with our tenants.

**Your new role**

You will work in the Property Support Team to provide facilities management and administrative support to the wider team of Commercial Property Officers, Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Much of our work is either at home (we will provide appropriate IT kit) or out on site (so we will need you to have a full driving licence). If you have experience in facilities management, so much the better, but we offer formal paid-for training in this area - particularly through the RICS.
