An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neurodevelopmental team, within the Medicine care group at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

You will support the admin team by providing an efficient and effective clerical support service within the Neurodevelopmental team.

To provide an efficient and effective clerical admin support service within the Neurodevelopmental Team.

The post holder will ensure information is accurately recorded onto various patient administration systems and provide general admin support.

To support the maintenance of various patient systems on recording and tracking of up to date information relating to patient pathways and including referrals.

Monitor and follow up outstanding information from families and schools.

Request all associated supporting documents

Responsibility for chasing supporting documents.

Maintenance of departmental databases and spreadsheets

Use of patient administration systems to check and update patient information

Ongoing liaison with families and schools regarding referral process and obtaining questionnaires.

Establishing good levels of communication

General office and admin duties.

Ensure that policies, protocols and procedures for the work of the department are followed

Ensure that the Trust’s Code of Practice for Safeguarding Patient Information is adhered to at all times.
