HR Assistant

Our client based in Lytham is looking for a HR assistant. varied role will see you support with everything from generalist HR matters to performance management, attendance, colleague relations and our colleague's wellbeing. Supporting other teams within the business such as recruitment and payroll.
Salary - £22,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience with excellent benefits
Contract - Fulltime - FTC 12 months
Main Responsibilities
The role will predominantly involve the following:
- Ensuring happiness in the workplace
- Giving advice and coaching to management on HR queries
- Ensuring relevant systems are up to date
- Reporting on attendance and taking appropriate next steps
- Producing regular reports for management
- Promoting EAP regularly to ensure wellbeing
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- A passion for positive wellbeing in the workplace
- Previous HR advisor experience from within a HR team
- Ability to build positive working relationships and establish rapport with people at all levels
- Up to date knowledge of current legalisation
- Strong communication skills, both written, verbal and face to face
- Ability to work accurately & attention to detail in both numeracy and literacy
- Excellent organisational skills to be able to organise workload and work under pressure
- Ability to use Microsoft systems such as Excel, Office, Word etc to a high standard
