**About the Role**:
Juniper Training is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Progression Coordinator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals.
As a Progression Coordinator, you will work closely with students, ensuring they are engaged and progressing in their learning journeys. You will play a key role in identifying progression routes, offering guidance, and providing tailored support to help students move successfully into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
The role also involves promoting safeguarding, including preventing radicalisation and promoting British values.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Student Support & Progression:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them identify and navigate progression routes.
- Sourcing opportunities for students to attend work experience.
- Track student progress and maintain up-to-date records of their development and achievements.
- Offer tailored advice and support for students transitioning into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
- Lead student progress meetings, identifying at-risk students and implementing targeted interventions.
- Support students in writing CVs, preparing for interviews, and developing employability skills.
**Engagement & Retention**:
- Drive student engagement and retention, ensuring learners remain on track to achieve their goals.
- Monitor attendance and performance, taking proactive actions to address issues and improve student retention.
- Support students with developing personal and professional skills to enhance their progression prospects.
**Training & Delivery**:
- Deliver training sessions aimed at building employability, personal development, and career readiness.
- Ensure students are fully prepared for their next steps, whether in further education or the workforce.

**Essential Abilities**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their progression goals.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
- Experience in providing advice and guidance to young people.
- High levels of motivation and a solution-focused mindset.
**Desirable Experience**:
- Experience in education, training, or career guidance.
- Knowledge of progression pathways into further education, apprenticeships, and employment.
- Coaching or mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, including promoting British values and preventing radicalisation.
