**A typical day**
- Assist delivery of standardised and automated reconciliation processes for an 'exception based’ reconciliation methodology
- Help improve the reconciliations control environment seeking maximum/optimum automation (auto match) for the banks key reconciliations
- Assist with the Reconciliations Council with a focus on the data / metrics
- Assist with service reviews with suppliers, ensuring any mandated or regulated changes are tracked
- Help support bank wide projects for reconciliation requirements as part of the 'discovery phase’
- To work flexibly alongside other colleagues to support the overall
- achievement of operational objectives
- Desire to become a point of reference for colleagues, and help deal with queries/questions, assist with problems, and reconciliations actions
- Assist delivery of a comprehensive and proportionate reporting suite for the bank’s reconciliations processes with a focus on key data sets
- Help manage the Control Framework for reconciliations including work for the control self-assessment and resilience planning / processes
- Ensure working practices, policies and procedures are adhered to.

**You must have**
- GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent

**Skills needed**
- Basic understanding of retail banking
- Willingness to learn and adapt to challenges
- Strong organisational skills with a data focused mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic technical ability and desire to understand regulation(s)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills

After your Data Fellowship Apprenticeship, you can progress into any Junior Data Analyst, Data Scientist and Data engineer role. You'll have the skills to run insight analytical projects from beginning to end and work within a Data Analytics team.
