Join to apply for the Apprentice Finance Assistant - Wimbledon role at Levy.Job Title: Apprentice Finance AssistantSalary: £30,000 per yearLocation: Wimbledon, All England Lawn Tennis Club, London, SW19 5AGReporting to: Finance Business PartnerHours/working pattern: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, however flexibility will be required to work evenings and weekends in the lead up and during the Wimbledon Championships.Season your career as a Finance AssistantWe're recruiting an Apprentice Finance Assistant to support the Levy team at WimbledonYou do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the ApprenticeshipOn completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve the Finance Assistant L2 and become a qualified Finance Assistant.Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:Management of the Accounts email inboxClose Nexus accounting system weeklyOversee the purchase order process, to ensure that the Goods Received Log (GRL) is always up to date so that costs are recognised in the correct periodCredit control for outstanding invoices, liaising with internal and external contacts as necessaryCompletion of supplier statement reconciliations on a regular basisMonth end accounting entriesPreparation of finance information for weekly forecasting callsSupporting with new supplier set ups and tracking the process through to completionAnswer the telephone, deal with telephone enquiries, and take messages in a polite and professional mannerAs part of Compass you'll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
