Our client, a leading international education company based in London seeks a Bid Specialist with expertise in developing and managing business partnerships in the International Markets (Africa & Middle East). This person will need to have a high-level understanding of the donor investment sector.
You will be responsible for working with different MoEs in the international markets outside of the US. Working closely with their teams to understand their requirements, responsible for identifying and managing Bids and Tenders and any form of donation strategy. Working closely with cross-functional teams and across the business to support the delivery of high quality, winning bids, tenders and proposals.
High-level understanding and experience of working with MoEs, and the Institutional investment sector. All groups supporting educational transformation projects. Development Aid groups, non-government organizations and private donors. USAID, DFID, UN, UNICEF, UNESCO and other donor institutions is a must.
Job responsibilities:

- Researching and identifying funding opportunities, relevant bids and tenders
- Communicating the business’ capability in compelling bid documentation and meetings with prospective partners
- Actively managing and developing the strategy for a number of Partnerships, managing the relationships, the products and related services. Delivering business performance in line with agreed targets, whilst building highly proactive, internal and external relationships.
- Preparation, review, editing and coordination of compelling tender documentation ensuring high levels of consistency and quality, that captures the offer, provides an accurate baseline for a future project, incorporates lessons learned, and mitigates company risks
- Work with Subject Matter Experts - SME’s to challenge, refine and improve compliant winning bid responses that clearly articulate the key benefits and value proposition
- Influencing and negotiating with people at all levels, including providing progress reports to management
- Collaborating across the business to learn from best practice
- Production of presentations (internal and external to the client)
- You will be expected to read the requirement from the client, identify individuals within the business with the knowledge required and speak to them to gain the relevant information needed. You will have a good idea of what the final proposal should feel and look like
- Working with local partners may require some travel across the territory from time to time depending on business requirements
