**Full time, office-based role**
**£25,300 - £27,500 plus excellent benefits**
As Service Desk Operator, you will be working for a global organisation, assisting with the roll out of network equipment across various customer sites in the UK and Europe.
The UK head office is based in Milton Keynes, and you'll be working as part of a friendly and well-established team.
This would suit someone who has worked in a 2nd line IT support role previously.
**In this job, you will be**:
- **Remotely overseeing installation/ migration through to completion**:
- Remotely assist with implementation of new equipment on sites across the EU
- Update and provide status updates and installation reports to the business and customer
- Performing 2nd line troubleshooting where necessary, with escalation support available
- Ensure engineers are despatched when required
**Ideally, for this role we are looking for**:
Field service or technical service desk experience
Network or Cisco knowledge would be a huge advantage
Must be a natural problem solver and a strong communicator
**Hours**:
During the training period you will be working 8am - 5pm Monday, and 8am - 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday, but when you're settled in you will switch to a shift pattern which is drawn up 3 months in advance. The shifts are split into the following day time patterns:
Early - 0700 - 1530
Middle - 0830 - 1700
Late - 1200 - 2030
