**Overview of Responsibilities**: The UKAEA is undergoing an exciting transformation as it scales up to meet the challenge of positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable nuclear energy. As part of this there is a requirement to establish the optimum Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) construct. As Head of the Portfolio Management Office (PfMO), this role will be instrumental in designing the new governance structure, which will involve collaboration between the programme delivery teams and the central Portfolio Management Office (PfMO). This role will lead in recruiting, training, and developing the future workforce for UKAEA projects and programmes, ensuring that the correct staff are available and are effectively managed either by programme delivery teams or the central PfMO as deemed appropriate.
