Achilleus Security are NOW looking to Recruit an Event Steward in London for work at Events, Stadiums, Festivals, and venues for assignments throughout Essex, Suffolk, London, and Home Counties Area...

Our team members can also enjoy working at both inside and outdoor events and venues throughout the Greater London Area and the Home Counties areas if they choose.

The type of work is varied and is as and when required.

We fully understand the Stewarding and Security Industry and the needs of our team members, and as such we really don’t mind you working for other companies as long as people act professionally and meet their commitments with us that’s what is most important.

Our team of **Event / Football / StadiuM/Festival Event Stewarding Team Members**must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety Qualification (or equivalent) but don’t worry if you don’t have one yet as we will help and support you to gain that for free.)

We are an established growing company, and as such there are great chances for advancement within the team for the right people that demonstrate the right qualities, and we are always looking for those that have what it takes to lead a team and represent the company in a senior capacity.

**WHAT WE OFFER YOU**

**EVENT / FOOTBALL STEWARD WILL RECEIVE**:
Good hourly rates of pay starting from:

- For team members that _**do not hold an NVQ**_ _or equivalent Level 2 or 3 in Spectator Safety_
- Event / Football Steward - In Training - From £13.68 - £15.52 Per Hour
- Event / Football Steward - In Training with SIA DS Licence From £14.12 - £15.69 Per Hour
- **For team members that do hold an NVQ or equivalent Level 2 in Spectator Safety**_
- Event / Football Steward - Qualified - From £14.57- £15.69 Per Hour
- Event / Football Steward - Qualified with SIA Licence £14.57 - £16.19 Per Hour
- **All rates are inclusive of holiday pay**_
- **Rates applicable from 1st April 2025**_
- Monthly Pay with Wagestream meaning up to 50% of wages can be drawn down within 10 days of working
- Minimum 5 Hours Pay for every shift.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED?

**APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION OF EVENT / FOOTBALL / STADIUM EVENT SAFETY STEWARD MUST BE**:

- Over 18 Years of age
- Hold a Current Valid SIA Door Supervisors License.
- Have a good command of the English Language both written and verbal.
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification or Equivalent or be prepared to be working towards this qualification.
- Willing to work as part of a growing team.
- MUST be fit and able to carry out this Safety-Critical role that includes long periods of standing, walking & using stairs without aids.
- Prepared to develop their skills for the role via Continued Professional Development with our support.
- Any work offered outside London in the Home Counties will include subsidised travel
- Applicants Must Be Able To Provide:

- photographic proof of ID
- proof of right to work within the UK
- recent and relevant proofs of address
- Able to provide a 5-year minimum checkable history - Vital Requirement
- Aware that the role includes mostly weekend and evening shift availability

We pay above National Minimum Wage Rates, and pay rates are dependent on position, qualification, venue, and role, and 100% of the assignments offer a 5-hour minimum pay (call time). All our team members are employed on a PAYE Tax basis, and sadly due to HMRC Guidelines we do not except those that are Self Employed even with UTR number.

**WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES**

This role will see you as responsible within a for the safety and security of employees and customers at events and venues that we work at.

You will be interacting with the public and employees within the events spaces and locations, along with communicating and directing customers, the public and guests, along with general crowd control / monitoring. You are also responsible for ensuring event / stadium policies, rules and safety procedures are adhered to.
