We know that our customer's vehicles make getting from A to B that much easier, whether it's to do the weekly shop, the school run or to get things delivered, it's all important. **What you'll do**: The Fleet Compliance Controller is responsible for the control and implementation of processes & practices across DLGAS, making sure we have a positive Fleet compliance safety culture and ensuring we comply with all relevant legislation and guidance and following policy and procedures relating to our Fleet operating Licence obligations and requirements. The Fleet compliance Controllers will manage the delivery of a comprehensive Fleet management framework including supporting external and internal auditing standards. This role is looking after sites in the South of England so ideally the successful applicant will live in that region, the role will be mainly home working with some visits to our sites required, a vehicle will be provided. **What you'll need**: This is a permanent role 40 hours a week Transport Manager CPC will be required for this role The future is exciting now the technologies used in Body Shops are evolving every day, which is really helping us re-shape vehicle repair industry. Ensure we are constantly challenging ourselves to raise Fleet management standards and creating an environment where are people can succeed. - Ensure we provide a Fleet compliance and maintain our Operating Licences - Ensure we are compliant with all relevant legislation and HSE - Be aware of changes in fleet/transport legislation - Implement a positive culture where all DLGAS staff are aware of their Operating licence commitments and have the support to achieve these - Support both internal and external audits to ensure we have governance and benchmarking processes in place - Complete Driver and transport controller inductions for DLGAS repair centre roles - Work with the Transport controllers to identify opportunities and to run a quarterly regional transport meeting to maintaining excellent levels of compliance, communicate Audit findings, dashboard MI - Support the de fleet and onboarding of Courtesy car process - Ensure Fleet Vehicle safety - Review all Risk assessments relevant to transport and communicate finding with the sites - Support Site managers in closing internal and external audit non-conformances through the health and safety management system - Support and train important roles in the use of the DLG health and safety management systems - Provide administrative services to the Fleet team following applicable organisation policies, referring to Line Manager - Make improvements and implement required changes to ensure compliance - Communicate with external agencies relation to fleet management matters - Achieve agreed personal targets and help Line Manager reach team targets - Ensure compliance to applicable codes, legislation, and procedures - Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work - Immediately report problems/failures that may affect on the organisation and its clients/customers to Line Manager - Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole - Follow all organisation procedures - Work and co-operate with all members of the organisation, its suppliers, and clients/customers **Who you'll be working with**: You will report to our Fleet Compliance Manager We know you've heard this all before, but the culture here at DLG really is something else.
