Fleet Finance and Project Executive

About the role
As a Fleet Finance & Project Executive, you will be working within the Distribution and Fulfilment Fleet Team to support with all Finance projects across Distribution and Dotcom. There will be some cross function work involved with Finance, Asset Teams, Group Capital, Driver Safety Compliance Manager and external suppliers.

You will be required to support with holiday cover for other functions within the Distribution Fleet Team.

This role will be based out of our Welwyn Garden City office and may require some travel within the UK.

You will be responsible for
- Collating Information for Investment Committee papers for various projects across the Distribution and Dotcom Fleet Team.
- Support with Project forecast to ensure spend happens within the time periods agreed, this will include liaising with suppliers on delivery timelines.
- Collate revenue spend across both functions and look at ways to make the process simpler.
- Cross Function working with the Asset team to ensure all fleet is recorded correctly within the financial register as well as the technical register.
- Gather information for proof of investment papers in order to report to the business the outcome of the project investment.
- Help with Long Term Spend Plan modelling, keeping database up to date with projected future spend.
- Liaise with suppliers’ ref purchase orders and Invoice queries as well as raising Invoices for vehicles sold.
- Supporting Insurers with Invoices in order to recovery costs from 3rd parties.
- Support admin while in the office, scanning fines, Notice of Intended prosecutions and sending out adhoc equipment. auditing paperwork kept in the office
- Contributing to make your team a great place to work (e.g., supporting activities like team days or team meetings)
- Defining your objectives with your manager and managing your own development plan to meet this

You will need
- Experience of ecommerce, fulfilment or a logistics background would be an advantage
- Excellent level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
- Good Numerical Skills
- Good Organisational Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operation environment.
