**Summary**:
The Defence Strategic Networks, Computers, and Communications Programme, is looking to employ a new Head of Site Installation Assurance and System Design Authority, that will within a single office provide a single version of complex strategic digital technology the support the most critical outputs of the Ministry of Defence. This role will own the complex systems of systems enterprise architecture model, and provide installation advice for sensitive locations to assure that systems are safe, secure, and meet the operational demand of the Military Users.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- Strategic Network Computers and Communications (StratNCC) Sites Coordination Installation and Design Authority (SCIDA) will approve installation methods, to assure they are safe and secure, and manage the master system records via the SPARX Configuration Management Database.**Responsibilities**:

- Initially build the system CMDb within the SPARX Enterprise Architecture tool, for Strategic systems, then assure they remain accurate as the systems evolve over time to meet ever changing operational demand, and countering new and advancing threats.
- Support analysis of system design alongside system assurance team to understand impact of changes and reactive tasking to components being found to have vulnerabilities, or are notified as having an end of life by their Original Equipment Manufacture.
- Provide Audit against MoD Policy of all installations and systems across all sites to assure safe and secure installation.
- Provide installation advice to the StratNCC team to allow best use of sites and systems in delivering operational effect while maintaining a safe and secure capability.
- Support installations with other sites using SCIDA skills to get the approvals of Engineering Change Requests in place and allow the projects to keep to schedule.**Behaviours**:
