SEO Executive

We’re looking for an **ambitious and driven SEO Executive** to join our digital marketing team. If you already have experience in SEO and want to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to manage projects more independently, develop strategies, and have a direct impact on our clients’ organic growth.

Working closely with colleagues across content, design, and development, you’ll take ownership of SEO campaigns from planning and optimisation through to reporting and performance analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities
- Create new content and carry out on-page optimisations, including meta-data, site architecture, and content recommendations
- Carry out and implement technical SEO audits in collaboration with our development team
- Develop and execute link-building and digital PR strategies
- Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
- Assist in preparing client-facing reports, explaining results and next steps clearly
- Stay on top of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies

**About You**
- 2+ years’ hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
- Confident using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

**Bonus points for**:

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript basics
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms

**Core Benefits**
- Competitive salary (£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience)

**Important Information**
- 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of our Wallasey-based office

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
